Its funny that you say one has to give respect to get respect. The man has not given an ounce of respect to anyone since he began his candidacy. He's lied to people who trust him, he makes fun of people, he twists words, goes back on promises, etc. He has ZERO integrity yet you people still love him.

That is exactly why they love him. Its his anti-social behavior. They do not care what he does just how he does it. He can flip flop on an issue and they flip flop in lock step. Just look at his campaign promises on healthcare vs. what he has championed in office.

Nonsense.
Nonsense? I think not when they are telling the truth. Nonsense is all the republican legislatures attacks on Obama. Obama was attacked unmercifully for 8 yrs by rush, sean, alex and a few other low lifes.

Yes. Pot calling the kettle black.

"We didn't care that Obama lied, broke promises, and flip flopped - and I am shocked and appalled that Trump voters are doing the same thing!"

I warned the Obamabots that the same would happen with the Republicans and their words would ring hollow.

Obama had the "red line" issue and the "you can keep your doctor" issue.

Trump has issues with lying and flip flopping every single, solitary day.

So that means you are a trumpbot?

As far as Obama I would criticize him too. Did not respond to pknopp as he did not cite an instance.

"The man has not given an ounce of respect to anyone since he began his candidacy."

He has NOT gone after ANYBODY who has NOT ATTACKED him first.

As has been stated all through the campaign, he is a counter puncher.

"he twists words, goes back on promises, etc. He has ZERO integrity yet you people still love him"

The EXACT same thing can be said of Bill & Hillary and Obama.

So it is a mute point.

I can relate to this ~ I hoped he would change.

This is one of those times when I think about the beauty of the phrase, "It's more blessed to give than to receive". Contains some common sense logic as well. i.e. In order to give something, one must necessarily have it to begin with, in other words, one is blessed to have the 'thing' & is therefore in a position to give that 'thing'.

Also agree wholeheartedly if one desires respect, one must be ready, willing & able to give respect.

& perhaps those who 'still love him' ~ love him unconditionally? i.e. They do not hope he changes.
