As far as Obama I would criticize him too. Did not respond to pknopp as he did not cite an instance.
I most certainly did and NO ONE on the left criticized Obama. He promised to do health care in the open. He promised to post the progress on the internet for all to read before there was a vote.
Nobody on the left demanded that happened. They defended Pelosi and Reid when they took it all behind closed doors refusing to learn the problems that happened when Hillary did that.
It's still defending and it's all blamed on the Republican's. Nobody stopped Obama from living up to his promises.
Nonsense? I think not when they are telling the truth. Nonsense is all the republican legislatures attacks on Obama. Obama was attacked unmercifully for 8 yrs by rush,sean,alex and a few other low lifes.
I guess you are not old enough to remember how the dems attacked both H. Bush and W. Bush.
I guess you don't remember when W was running and while he was gov. of Texas several men were caught after torturing a black man and W. upheld the sentences for them, then the dems ran and ad depicting W. driving the truck with the black man being drug behind it.
I could go on and on with REAL stories.
So, stop with the sanctimonious attitude thinking your side is as pure as the driven snow.
The difference is that Trump wasn't President then.
And yet, people constantly bring up events regarding Clinton's life before he became president. In fact the aggressor in chief tried to intimidate and embarrass Hillary by sleazily giving a press conference with a woman from Clinton's distant past, immediately before a presidential debate. So apparently, the sleaze in chief believes one's entire life is fair game.
And that would include Trump's. To include Clinton and exclude Trump from the same standards is called a 'double standard'. The Trump cult seems to be very big on using those.
So what should be the response to his disgusting attacks? I have never seen the fanatic devotion to any politician like Trump has from his faithful. I don't get it. The man wants to pass legislation that will hurt his support base and they applaud and defend him. He has no respect for women and yet his female supporters still think he's their hero. Scary.
It is pretty scary. But I think you will find this level of devotion in almost any society with almost any political system. Take anyone and install them as President of your country and there will always be a core support level of around 25-30%, no matter how awful that leader is. It has happened throughout history.

Support is one thing. Blind devotion and the refusal to criticize anything he does is another.
