I mean come on, I realize this is par for the course for him and not the biggest of his issues, but this is just so disgusting and unpresidential.
An official statement by a sitting US president is insulting a woman's looks and intelligence, because she was critical of him on the morning show he claims not to watch.
How can you people condone this behavior? How does this dignify the office of the Presidency?
I'd be interested to see the defense of this too, after all the lectures from those leaning right regarding how awful left wing rhetoric is.
Quote:
"I heard poorly rated Morning Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came ..." Trump tweeted before adding "to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!"
I don't care what side of the spectrum you're on, this is repulsive and uncalled for by anyone, especially in his position. That is now an official, archived statement for all time.
Everyone knows that Trump watches Morning Joe. He gets upset when they critique his actions.
But awhile back Trump bluffed/lied and tweeted that he won't ever watch the show again. But everyone knows it was a bluff and he still watches the show. You can tell because he immediately tweets about the show when they critique him. But he qualifies his tweets with "But I don't watch it". Everyone knows this is a big lie, even the Trumpkins. He watched the show today and he's upset but he cannot admit that he watched the show because of a prior bluff.
Too bad he wasn't debating ways to improve the health care plan. That's a bit more pressing, no?
