That cop was probably a sissy growing up and got his ass kicked regularly. Now he's a big bad cop going around roughing up lil punk kids in his neighborhood because he knows their parents can't retaliate with the PD in this back pocket to back him up. If he wasn't a cop, the kid's dad or uncles would come over his house and break his damn neck.

Furthermore, why tackle and rough up the kid AND THEN complain that he shouldn't have been on your lawn when he was obviously trying to leave?
Cop needs to be fired. Simple as that.
So, you want to allow black kids to do what ever they want without consequence, how about teaching them to respect others property, like I taught my kids.
You have some police who have this mentality that they can do whatever they want whenever they want and if they're not obeyed and respected they go ape ****.
But you also have generations now that have zero respect for the law, zero respect for authority, no ability to function in a society and no respect for anybody, especially themselves. High crime areas usually have both and this happens.
We've seen bad cops and heard the stories about thugs like Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin. Instead of pointing the finger at one or both, maybe we need to look at why society has been in a free fall the last few decades.
Actually violent crime is lower than it ever has been.
It is the Internet and social media that give it the appearance that it is out of control.
What worries me is that people will shout for more control over the people and police state measures which is exactly what the state wants.
It is rather ironic that people say Hitlers Germany was Socialist and turn around and support a Gestapo Type Environment. I'll choose Freedom over Safety

A cop should be skilled enough to control his emotions better than the average citizen or he shouldn't be allowed to be a cop.
A fight had already taken place. You know what I would have done? I would have gone out and asked questions and maybe learned more about what had already taken place. I would have used it as a teaching moment to let them both see that cops are sometimes just concerned about people.
Throwing a kid down, putting him in a chokehold, and threatening to kill him would be appropriate if there was intentional destruction to property, or a physical attack on loved ones, or something of that nature.
His over the top, aggressive behavior tells me something is really off with him.
So far, nobody has given a reasonable excuse about why they feel this was called for. Being on his property?

Or, blame the shooting on Black criminals, saying things like "if there weren't so many criminals in the Black population, that 1 year old would live". Black people are looked down on more, relative to other groups. For this reason, if something like what you described is inexcusable, this will still somehow be Black people's fault.

That's means one or two things, your parents didn't teach you to respect other people's property, or you're a fraud.

As a white person, the constant trend I see from certain people, is they want the state to have a jack boot approach when it comes to policing the nation and its people.
A jack boot approach when it comes to policing other nations no matter how savage.
And a Cut Throat approach when it comes to Mega Corporations controlling this country and other countries.
The only thing they do not want is you cutting into their take when it comes to enriching themselves
