Schiff still blocking witnesses from testifying (attorney, felons, elections, elect)

Can some of you enlightened progressives explain why he blocks the very witnesses they are accusing of colluding with Russia?

My guess is because it is all a bunch of made up garbage and they are trying to keep a lid on it.

Because it is fake and they don't want to expose that on the stand. They need to keep the fake Russian narrative alive for the 2018 elections.

Or most likely because the witnesses in question (Manafort, Stone and Page) are under active investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies. In the case of Manafort that includes the US Attorney's Office and the AG of New York.

EDIT: The rumor is that these three are going to face charges and the whole house of cards will come down in a RICO case against the Trump campaign. House committee are not about to jeopardize that with public testimony.

And while it's the Senate, Lindsey Graham and all of his fake concern is trying to harm the investigations by demanding the release of FISA warrants, which most certainly involved those guys.
