Exactly! I am a huge proponent of a Medicare for All public option.

There you have it. Thank you! Another republican pig-headed decision leading to self destruction. The truth comes out.

Looks like the Republicans in Western Nebraska, Alaska and Wyoming will be paying top dollar for health-care as opposed to people in Los Angeles and Boston who will pay the price of a cup of coffee per day for health-care.

Los Angeles for example with so many young people on health exchanges in California and the risk so spread out will only pay $650 a year for a 40 year old making $50,000 a year.

In the Boston suburbs according to the map, 40 year olds would pay $390 a year for coverage.

In many of the counties in Western Nebraska they are expected to pay $6,150 under Republicans American Health Care Act.

I wonder if rural Nebraskans will enjoy paying paying 8 times as much as Maxine Waters Los Angeles and 15 times more then Elizabeths Warren's Massachusetts.

Many of these hospitals are also run-down old-dumps in rural America. People in Los Angeles have Cedar-Sanai and Bostonians have world-class hospitals a dime a dozen.

The population is also aging big time out there also so the premium for a 60 year old in Republican Western Nebraska would be $20,000, compared to about $6,400 in Los Angeles.

I have no sympathy for the dummies who voted against their own self interest.

It drops my premium AND gives me back the tax money I've had to shell out (which may some day come close to all the money I've lost on healthcare since NO ONE TAKES any of the ACA plans and I had to pay cash to see doctors on top of $15k a year on premiums).

In the end, all these plans are stupid bc they still leave insurance companies in charge of health care.

My area has one of the longest life spans and highest QOL on earth! And it's affordable as heck! Plus we don't have to worry about coverage for people!

I dont understand this obsession with medicaid and a place like nebraska and rural areas, a place like nebraska only receives a tiny amount of the medicaid spending in the united states . Four states alone ( California,Texas, New York and Florida) receive well over 1/3 of the nations medicaid spending. Medicaid cuts will effect alot more people than just rural areas and will really influence alot of state budgets

Those four states also contain roughly a third of the US population so...
Anyway, Nebraska is being used as an extreme example because it is so rural. You're correct that the impacts will be felt in all states, even the big ones.

This is one aspect of Trump and his Trumpcare that I will find amusing. So many parts of the country ignored how Obamacare helped them. They voted for Trump and now regard Trump like a deity. Wait until they get a full dose of Trump. Those rural areas that will be losing their health coverage or seeing huge cost increases so Trump can give his buddies huge tax cuts are going to get what they voted for.
