Since Trump and the GOP have been in total control of the government earlier this year, the unemployment rate has managed to steadily decline with each passing month.

However, all we have been hearing about is Russia this and Russia that. Why does the MSM continue to ignore Trump's economic prowess and fail to admit that the Republicans are responsible for a historic 16-year low in the unemployment rate thanks to the efforts by the Trump Administration?

Probably because his accomplishments have been so overshadowed by his hissy-fit tweets over the media and his general buffoonish behavior...

I vaguely remember people saying the unemployment rate was fake or manipulated just months ago. Has that discrepancy been resolved?

Obama worked 8 years to dig us out of a recession that Bush and his 2 wars created.

The economy has been doing better and getting better for 5-6 years now.

Trump hasn't done anything in 5 months that's made any significant impact on the economy. It's been doing well for a while now.

ALL credit goes to Barack.

Because Trump is self-imploding and nobody can turn their head the other way - not Republicans, Democrats or Independents. The entire world is watching Trump self-implode. Think of Trump imploding when you watch the fireworks on July 4th. Everyone's watching, they just can't turn away.

Do they make orange fireworks? Oh look https://www.google.com/search?q=oran...w=1366&bih=610

Yeah for trump -- five months in and he's managed to have positive job growth each month.

Obama did it for 75 months.

Because he did not do anything. The economy is in the upswing before he took office.
