When people (especially younger people) believe intently on a thing, they believe everyone else must/should believe it as well... no matter how wrong they might actually be.

When I was young I would blast my stereo, as I drove to the beach, believing everyone around me was enjoying it as well. I now realize that I was sorely mistaken and quite irritating to other drivers.
