I'm not defending Trump here, just pointing out some things Obama did to the press. I don't blame Obama for not liking Fox News, but he did try to exclude Fox reporters from interviewing people in his administration, and other reporters objected.

1. Trump includes an animated gif with cnn logo on it in a tweet.
2. Reddit users in an alt right subgroup recognize as one of there own members creation and start talking about it on line.
3. Cnn and other news agency pick up on this and start looking into it.
4. Very quickly they figure out who was the author and reach out and leave a voice message,
5. The author does not want people to now who he is quickly posts an apology and deletes his Reddit postings. This was all before communicating with cnn
6. Right wing provaceturs pick on one line in cnn story and twist it into balackmail. For added spice they say it was a 15 year old.
7. Donald trump jr showing the patience of the antithesis to job retweets it is a 15 year old.
What did I miss? Other than trump supporters were once again trolled.

And today a mod at Reddit sub /r/The_Donald removed the gif creators apology then went on RT, Russian state news, and complained about liberal censorship.
