My claim stays correct until you prove it otherwise ... (I even gave a cross reference)

btw: Tynsdale he broke the law too ... he was persistent for the greater good, so as the common people of his day could learn from the book, rather then depend on government and priests for their knowledge.

The Greens broke the law for personal gain? We do not know this, as we are not them.

good day
So, who cares if it was altruistic or personal gains? They broke the law. "Lock 'em up!"

Now back to the topic of this thread. HL was not saving anything, they were not conserving anything. They were buying looted artifacts on the black market to get people to pay for tickets to their museum. If they wanted to conserve the artifacts there are many agencies that they could have donated to that do just that, but not for personal gain.

I understand that some want them to be virtuous in this whole ordeal, but they aren't. They broke the law for personal gain.
Christians have a way of twisting any illegal or immoral activity to fit with their faith.

Exactly.

Their attempts to weasel out the consequences of their illegal behavior by claiming it was their Christian duty is repulsive.

The purpose of the need for transparency, as others have pointed out, is that the purchase of these items could very well fund ISIS operations. I cannot imagine a world where anyone could justify ISIS profiting so that a private museum would have content to sell their museum to consumers to. None in the world.
Unfortunately, what it cost them to buy/ship/return and pay the fine for breaking the law... is just a slap on the wrist. They'll make it back up in a day or two as trumpissts go there to shop to show their support.

It's unfortunate but true as one who spent many years in the church. The church is comprised of regular people; so is HL.

So 'unchristian like acts" are quite common and Hobby Lobby's illegal actions are just more proof.

Oh, but they DO ENGAGE in whorish behavior.

Whorish, definition:

1: a woman who engages in sexual acts for money : prostitute; also, informal + offensive : a promiscuous or immoral woman
2: a male who engages in sexual acts for money

3 : a venal or unscrupulous person. = HOBBY LOBBY!

Does the money from the admissions ticket go to the museum?
