OK. Give us an example of how it is working for you. You know - your premium, deductible...things like that.
And if you wouldn't mind, will you compare that to what it was before Obamacare... And if you can, tell us what it will be like with the new Trumpcare, if it ever exists.

I'm not going to give you the exact amount I pay in premiums, but it is very low for my husband and me. No deductible, prescriptions are paid for or very cheap, doctor visits are $10, preventive care is covered. There is no comparison to what we had before O'care. We couldn't be happier with our coverage and our costs. My husband had to have a complicated eye surgery and I think it cost us $10.

Reason: additional statement

I can see Obamacare is indeed working for you since you pay "very low" premiums and have no deductible.
Maybe we will hear from all the other millions of people who also have that plan.
I haven't seen it, myself.
Of course it is. The last stat I read was that all the stories about premiums doubling, tripling; plans being phased out; doctor's quitting; etc.... all that meat feeding RWNJ anger is 3% of the eligible population. The highest I've seen for the horror stories of Obamacare was 7% of the eligible pop.
For the most part, it's 40% of people in this country are angry about the situation of 3-5% of the country b/c they think it represents the situation for 80% of the country.
Unfortunately the Republicans in congress have been working tirelessly to cripple and de-stabilize the program, and this was long before the last regime change.
Time to instate Single Payer, and protect the American people.
It is good for me as well, I had two major surgeries in the past few years all covered at 99% by the insurance company all due to Obamacare.
My husband had a pre-existing condition and had to go through multiple hospital visits which were all covered with minimal cost to us.
There are alot of stories like ours but those don't get as much media coverage... There are also many people who benefit from Obamacare who don't even realize it! But when the Obamacare benefits go away due to the repeal and replace agenda the Repugs seem hell bent on, THAT is when many people will miss it. Sad but true.
well like so many who only read one side, you are basing your opinion on one article and not even from a paper that might be known for being objective.
let me tell you how well it is working: I am appalled at how high my kids insurance rates have shot up in the past few years; I am shocked at their deductibles and then it hit me on the head yesterday. A test I have o have repeated every year went this year to $130. In the past few years the out of pocket cost has been nothing. I also am amazed at the number of diagnostic tests that are not limited depending on ones age. By the way I am not even saying this is bad, but I am pointing out some of the changes I have witnessed since Obamacare became the way of the land. Oh and then there is the restrictions on how long a doctor is supposed to spend with a patient. What is that all about?
Now tell me what is so wonderful about Obamacare? Again ask your doctor or health health provider. We have, in our immediate family a few in the heath field from nurses, to nurse practitioners to doctors.

Obamacare (or ACA) influences the employer group market as well. Things like the essential benefits, no caps, no wait periods on new employment, subsidies for early retirees (expired now), portability, included vaccinations and health exams are all mandated by ACA and no longer required by the Trumpcare proposal. Will your employer plan include them? Many did not before the ACA, so it is reasonable to expect employers to offer less if they can get away with it. We will be back to the days of having to weigh the health care package we get if we move to a new company or a new state. Will it cover the baby you are planning, for example? Will the employer cancel it altogether at some point?
