I just....don't anymore. Did these people truly not recognize the Constitution when they saw it? Or do people just not read anymore?

I know enough about the Constitution to understand that if government wants to take your property, you are first entitled to due process, and that if government takes your property after giving you due process, you are entitled to just compensation. I also understand that if government wants to prohibit rent serfs from acquiring property in increments they can afford, that is A-OK and said rent serfs are entitled to nothing.

That's pretty much all a rent serf needs to know.

I believe you are incorrect regarding serfdom. You may want to take a look at that point in another thread. The last time someone posted in that thread was yesterday.
It is entitled "The Document that started it all: The Declaration of Independence". Some people (including me) do talk about your point and the Constitution. The are some similar comments like your and post on both sides of the issue.

Believe it or not, I did a search before I posted this.

It was not the subsequent Constitution.

I stand corrected. For some reason, I had the Constitution stuck in my head, even after I read the article. I am now eating crow. And it's probably too late to correct the title of this thread. *slinks away*

OK, any mod may remove this thread!

please

Have you ever thought of a change of scenery?

Your just stagnating where you are at. What you have to lose to make a move?

Having a constitutional lawyer as a president that tried to ignore the constituent did not help

Declaration of Independence. Fourth of July, 1776. Constitution was created in 1787, ratified in 1788, and effective in 1789...many amendments after that.

And...citizens without property consented to be governed by the Constitution...when?

Yeah, yeah, I've already been told and I addressed that in my previous post. But thanks.
