Brings in $1,325
I'd like to see something similiar implemented here to show how the leftists dont put their money where their mouth is.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...ably-in-norway

From the Bloomberg:
Quote:
Eager to pay more taxes? Then look no further than Norway.

Hammered by the opposition for slashing taxes and going on a spending spree with the country’s oil money, the center-right government has hit back with a bold proposal: voluntary contributions.

Launched in June, the initiative has received a lukewarm reception, with the equivalent of just $1,325 in extra revenue being collected so far, according to the Finance Ministry. That’s not much for a country of 5.3 million people, many of whom are already accustomed to paying some of the highest taxes in the world (the top rate of income tax is 46.7 percent).

The liberals over there are probably just too lazy to physically make the transaction from their accounts to the government.

After all, they're so reliant upon the government to do everything for them that they just don't know how to do anything for themselves.

There are voluntary contributions in most countries and you can pick where exactly you want your money spent, they are called charitable donations.

You can make charitable donations in relation to certain schools and education funds, universities, hospitals, disease research, and many life saving services such as lifeboats etc.

Why would you want to just give the money to the Government when you can already choose which charities you want to donate to.

From the Bloomberg:
Massachusetts has a version of this, You can opt to pay a slightly higher tax rate.
Not surprisingly hardly anyone chooses to pay it including many top democrats like E. Warren
https://medium.com/@mysteriousrook/d...e-babe5a335729
Quoted from the article.
Elizabeth Warren got into trouble over this in her 2012 race against Scott Brown. She favored a higher tax rate on wealthy people like her, but when pressed, and after many evasions, admitted she didn’t do it. Her defense is worth quoting:
Warren has said that questions about her personal practices are not relevant to the public policy debate. The debate, her campaign has said is “not about funding government through voluntary contributions…but about our values.”

Warren is just another typical liberal hypocrite.

The same thing would apply to those who argue people would build bridges and interstates on their own if they didn't have to pay taxes to do it.

Leftists argue for higher tax rates, not voluntary taxes.

What is the deal, here? You don't have to be a liberal to understand this, and it is just common sense, so how do you not grasp it?
