It is disgusting to see our POTUS kowtowing to Putin like a fool.
Like you wouldn't kowtow to your boss.

You should know better Recess, for shame trying to pretend Putin is anything but a vicious thief who has ransacked his own nation , impoverished his poeple and invaded eastern europe and has even PUBLICLY admitted it on camera.

Now tell me again what a great guy Putin is .....
lol.

So what exactly do you think the US would do if Russia helped stage a coup in Mexico and install a government more favorable for them? and we had a huge strategic military base there?
Stop swallowing all the BS and start asking questions.

A good dialog? Trump caved on everything - agreed with the Russian approach of bombing the crap out of Syrian cities and agreed to stay out of Russian "internal affairs" (Ukraine, Crimea...). The Russians are gloating!

"Putin’s supporters (who are largely sexist) saw it as a symbolic duel of the two most powerful “Alpha males” on the planet, with Putin an absolute victor—and Trump’s future career dependant on his friendship with the Kremlin’s leader.

“Trump is absolutely our guy; no matter how dependant he is on the U.S. establishment, no matter what he has said in Poland about Russia ‘destabilizing’ Europe,” an ideological adviser for the Kremlin, Sergei Markov, told The Daily Beast in a phone interview on Friday. “Putin is a much more powerful Alpha male than Trump, as he has full support of the absolute majority in Russia, but with Putin’s support Trump should grow stronger, at least with fighting terrorism in Syria

So , you think the United States is the moral equivalent of Putin's Russia.

That explains a lot.

Oh I'm sure the US government would just have handed that base to the Russians, because of democracy and stuff you know)))

Conversely we could just threaten Mexico with energy cutoffs in the dead of summer among other tyrannical acts of intimidation/bullying should they proceed with trade deals with Russia and when the Mexican people, heavily in favor of closer integration with Russia, protest America's vassal Mexican leader who in turn violently suppresses the protest to the point of being ousted by his government, we can whisk him to D.C., send in non-uniformed soldiers to Oaxaca and declare a referendum on secession.

The mexican oligarchs getting rich off of US factories and cheap Mexican labor wouldn't allow that.

The mexican elite is balls deep in US manufacturing and that's not changing lol.

It USED to have much higher moral stand back in time, during the Cold War.
But after the nineties it became a whole different matter. No more posturing now pls. - it doesn't work any longer.
