See, this is the problem. There is nothing wrong with getting dirt from an American. It's when you go outside of America to help you win elections. Which is why the Clinton Foundation was a problem for Hillary due to foreign donations. It looks and smells shady.
I agree. It's all coming out in the open house both political parties will deal with foreign thugs of any sort to get elected.

The way to defeat Trump is in cleaning up your back yard.
She made a giant blunder with that foundation and simply should have placed it in a blind trust and got Chelsea out too. .

Instead she thought she could have everything and keep the foundation going .

It didn't however make her bad. It just gave the GOP a talking point to use against her.

That charity was 1000 times better and more on the up and up than Trump's private slush fund charity.

But this is not a thread to rehash Clinton again and again.

This is about whether Trump will survive.

In any other scenario Pence would not be able to garner 2%. I thought the Pence pick was brilliant as a fire wall. People are so blinded in their hatred that they can not see the huge win this would be for the GOP.

The answer is coming up with better ideas and selling them to the country, not in helping the GOP create a monster. The damage a Pence presidency with the Senate and House could do is very real. I'll only chuckle when Pence nominates Franklin Graham for the Supreme Court. (OK that was a bit over the top, but still)

The big, BIG problem with this whole Trump Jr./Russia story is it stinks like a set up.

There was NO DIRT and according to the lady lawyer herself she didn't and doesn't know anything about any anti-Hillary information, just something about adoption laws...

Every Republican in the primaries lost to him.

I see. Trump bad. Hillary not bad.

(D) voters don't vote in the Republican primaries. Those who stayed home because it was Hillary, vote if it was not Hillary.

I think it is instructive to view this latest chapter in international political manipulation through the prism of how similar it is to what the Clintons and the parties in general are doing to promote their own interests, and how willing their supporters are to look aside. That they can both deal with foreign governments in such a way sort of begins to look more and more like the way Orwell carved up the world in 1984. It provides some insight into how sovereignty can be (is) lost.

They are trying to spin this as some - -oh gee golly we never knew it looks bad. The lawyer is saying 'nothing illegal happened' and that's all that matters.

Nope -- this stinks. It shows lack of character, integrity and really poor judgement on the Jr., the family and the administration.
It is illegal and Jr is still trying to defend it. The email states the Russian Government was supporting Trump. Right then and there alarm bells should have gone off.

It's being called a "dangle" by former and current counter espionage experts. The Russians probe to see if the Trump campaign has interest and can be compromised. Jr. took the bait and there will be many more shoes to drop as McCain has said. As for the Russian lawyer, she is a long time political operative who is well known in DC. She lies as easily as she breathes.
