"Donny JR and Trump campaign staff met with an attroney tied to the Kremlin" is the title of this thread. That looks pretty specific to me as to who the parties are under discussion.
You'd have to believe that a US Attorney lied in Court under oath to keep your delusion, but that's your prerogative. /shrug
I don't even know if he actually did say this in court.
If he did, don't know whether he was telling the truth or not. As you are well aware, the current US Attorney General lied under oath to Congress. It happens.
But do know it makes no difference to Trump Jr.'s situation.
That Russian attorney could have flown over on Air Force One, and it would still be illegal for Trump Jr., and Lord knows who else from the Trump campaign, to meet with her about sanctions, dirt on Clinton, or anythin else related to foreign policy or the election.
This attempt to distract attention is useless. I'm the only one paying attention to your nonsense and no one outside of Trumpworld gives a damn about how that Russian attorney got her visa extension or if she even had one.
I don't imagine Trump will get off as easy as Nixon did.
In the first place, Nixon's illegal business did not involve a foreign adversary.
In the second place, Mueller's legal team is not known for letting people slide. I suspect the prospect of letting Trump slip away to live out his years in Trump Tower, Mar-a-Lago, etc. while we pick up the tab for security, etc. is not an appealing one.
In the third place, I don't see a President Pence (should he by some miracle avoid being embroiled in this fiasco) ruining his political career by pardoning Trump.
You'd have to be a fool to believe Trump will be found guilty of anything.
