Lol, no way. I never been impressed by the social elite, I'm sure I can find someone on this forum I would enjoy meeting. Would love to meet my friend Renee, lol.

Because there's no 'there,' there.

Even the Russian lawyer herself said the purpose of the meeting was to lobby for the repeal if the Magnitsky Act, the same sh*t she tried to pull with members of Congress and the State Department, and for which a Federal Agent Registration Act complaint was filed against her.

Well, there is that.

And of course, Trump announcing that very day that soon dirt on Clinton would be revealed.

It will be interesting to see the President's role as the investigation moves forward and is finally released. Obviously he knew of this meeting as it involved 3 of the people closest to him and as posted he referenced it in a speech after winning the nomination. So clearly he is lying, again. So just like with Nixon even though he may not have committed a crime the coverup may be the issue he will be dealing with.

You keep repeating this, claiming someone said in court that the Attorney General is the only one who could override it.

Lynch has denied it.

In any case, it makes no difference.

It is illegal for a someone who is not part of the government to get involved in negotiating foreign policy, i.e. sanctions.

It is illegal for someone to accept items of value, such as opposition research, from a foreign nation.

The Russian attorney could have flown over on Air Force One and it doesn't change that what Trump Jr., Manafort, Kushner, (and who knows else), did.

It is a feeble attempt at deflection that doesn't play outside of Trumpworld.

This is getting worse for the President by the day. Anyone else notice how subdued he was as he addressed the media regarding this while in France? He wasn't nearly so demonstrative, reminded me of Jack Nicholson in Cuckoo's Nest after the labatomy.

Trump referenced the coming dirt on Clinton on the very day of the meeting.

I hadn't made that connection, but Trump does seem unusually subdued as of late.

He's still tweeting away about trade deals and fake news and so forth, but not up to his usual standards. Hasn't even falsely accused anyone of a crime in weeks.

Yep. And the investigators and anyone with half a brain is paying attention to that as he tries to tell us he just learned of the meeting last week.
