No No No. I am not even going to read past the first sentence because you lied right there. Saying he released his emails is a spin. The NYT was about to do that for him. The story had already been going on for 48 hrs. His answers kept changing. Nowhere in that 48 hrs did release his enails. In fact in those first 48 hrs he swore that Kushner an Manafort had no knowledge of what the meetings was to be about. The emails directly belied that. It was a lie.
Notwithstanding the anti-Trump CNN spin, this is not unusual.
The Congress Critters like nothing better than private interviews ahead of public testimony.
They love to know what the answers to their questions will be ahead of time.
How else do you best stage political theater.
Americans are so naïve. You don't all really think these people you elected to Congress for the most part are competent to conduct "investigations"........or do you?
If he isn't guilty, I would think he would welcome the opportunity to appear before Congress, God, and All Interested Americans and tell the truth and set the record straight. It seems he would be loudly and repeatedly demanding the chance to clear the Trump name of all wrongdoing.

& y'don't think the Reality TV Show Entertainer (& Producer) doesn't know a thing or 2 about how to "best stage political theater"?
Actually it seems more likely we will be talking about why the GOP Congress doesn't care that Trump just granted a pardon to all four and himself including all crimes he committed before he ran for office.
Trump trolled y'all with the comment he could pardon himself if he wanted to and y'all are going off about him giving Russia Russia Russia™ the nuclear missile codes.
But you are well represented with your 130 posts in here. Maybe another 150 more and we can do a CNN Power Hour.

Funny thing is he trolled his own party. Now they pass as law where POTUS can't lift Russian sanctions. A move that was counter to what the WN wanted. Talk about being b**ch slapped.

And it passed the Senate 97-2.. 97 votes 'yay', 2 votes 'nay'.
However it doesn't exactly strip the Executive Branch from all actions, but it does place limitations on it. However if he tries to water it down, Congress can go procedural and lock it down, and with that much support- I think that could happen.
At least that's what I understand about it.
Clearly the Senate is very concerned about the whole 'Russiar' thing, even when Trump is out and about lying about it through his eye teeth.
