Either meetings with five or so Russians are so commonplace that some tend to be boring, or he's lying through his teeth.
Russians are apparently the Vogons of the political world. I wonder if they write poetry...?

wasn't this meeting supposed to have been 20 minutes in total? if he arrived 10 minutes late and left 10 minutes early that doesn't say much for his attention span.

Exactly. I was about to post the same thing. Good point.

yep. the 20 minute timeline seems highly unlikely if kushner's account is to be believed. he states that he listened for 10 minutes which leaves 10minutes for kushner to arrive late, leave early, send an email and have it replied to by phone.

And the business about the phone call to get him out of there. Supposedly, Kushner has been doing multimillion dollar deals for years at this point. When did a guy like that need an excuse to get up and go?

And why would he leave the hapless Don Jr. behind to the mercies of the 5 Russians?

it's a maneuver usually reserved for first dates gone awkward, pretty rare to find it in a presidential campaign.

i'm now curious to know when discussion of russian documents/information did happen. kushner claims it wasn't while he was there. if everything is to be believed so far from kushner and donald j. jr then there could have only been a few minutes at the beginning of the meeting to discuss what the emails show was the main purpose of the meeting,

"do you have the russian documents/information showing dirt on clinton?"

"nope. lets talk about russian sanctions and adoptions."

"ok"

Left out where Kushner confirmed that he had asked the Russians for a secure communication line.
