Trump Jr's own release of his emails incriminates him as far as the matter of being open to working with a foreign power to undermine and influence the US Presidential election.
Per the emails, Trump Jr, Kushner, and Manafort agreed to meet with a "RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT ATTORNEY" (per the words in the emails). The emails further suggest that this person had Russian information and documents that would incriminate Hillary Clinton. This high level and sensitive information was part of Russia and its government's support for Donald J Trump.
Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.
Let's all repeat "Russia! Russia! Russia!" as if it means something while it means squat.
The opposition research teams of both parties goes on 365 days a year and you are trying to tell the world that Hillary Clinton wouldn't have talked to someone of a foreign government if they claimed they had dirt on a rival? Of course they would.
So you think the Trump, Junior emails, that Junior himself just released, are not authentic?
Russia says they gave them nothing. Russia never expected Trump to win any more than anyone else did. Was Trump looking for an advantage? Perhaps so. And?
We compete with them in certain areas. That does not make them our enemy or one that we should threaten to shoot down their planes in places they has as much right if not more to be in.
I understand that your anti-war position informs your world view, but I disagree strongly with your position here. Russia is a competitor, and THEIR actions have often made them our enemy. Their actions in Syria and in Ukraine are actions against the United States as well as actions against our allies. While I fully support the idea that we should explore every peaceful path to settle our differences, I think it's important to understand that their efforts to influence this recent election wasn't just to get their favored candidate into office, it was an attack on American democracy and the faith Americans have in the democratic process. They wanted to compromise the integrity of our election process.
Because they were largely (though not entirely) unsuccessful at hacking into our state-level election systems, the integrity of the election was protected. But they tried every means to interfere, and the fact that the Trump campaign was so open to them is troubling.
Trick question, Junior already gave us a definitive YES! on that one.
Do you think Putin wanted Trump in the WH out of the goodness of his heart, and didn't expect anything in return? Because the dictator and former KGB head had benign intentions, right?
