Yeah! Drown those old Florida Medicare and Medicaid recipients and save the Government a bundle! Go Mitch McConnell! Less health care - more tax cuts! A Republican's dream scenario!

I am over 6,000 feet so it is going to take a lot of rising to get my wish.

New Orleans shouldn't even be a city where it is now. Katrina made that point in 2005.

Cool. I'd like to be closer to the ocean.

Seriously though, Al Gore said Florida would be underwater by now. It isn't remotely close. We've all seen this Chicken Little act and it doesn't impress.

My city is something like 10-15 feet above sea level with the neighboring city at something like 7-10 feet. And while there are numerous factors involved, our metro is experiencing more and more issues with flooding.

Heck, if it rains just a little too hard, there are places I can't drive my car because of flooding. And it's also starting to become a thing where we'll see flooding without a single drop of rain.

This is what we see when we don't even get hit with a full hurricane. By the by, that's an underpass... that has enough clearance for tractor trailers to get through.
