In France it's customary to give smooches on the cheeks so it's a little different over there. Plus Melania probably receives lots of compliments wherever they go. He's just trying to acknowledge her.
I realize what the customs are in France. Telling the wife of the President of France that she's got a nice bod isn't the sames offering traditional greetings.
Not sure why this baffles people so much.

Personal comments on a person's appearance when the person in question is the First Lady of France, and the cameras are rolling isn't taboo, it's just gauche.
Maybe the French are less uptight than many Americans. Perhaps more comfortable in their own skin, as they like to say.

Do you realize that central banks have injected $300B of liquidity on a monthly basis since the beginning of 2017? Do you understand that interest rates are rising and that central banks have determined that they plan on deleveraging their balance sheets?
Do you understand that your economy is artificial? Do you know the implications of this?
Do you have ANY idea whatsoever how large in magnitude this next recession will be? Do you understand it's a systematic failure on multiple levels that nobody has ever seen, which will dwarf 2008 in comparison?

There is this thing called Manners. When one has good manners, they can discern what is appropriate in social and professional settings and act accordingly. For all his money, he can't afford Etiquette 101?
Lots of women are very happy not being complimented by gross and creepy men who have a history of boasting about sexual assault.
