The "its just a few million" mentality is what allows the fed to waste billions. Those few millions add up after awhile.
They always propose cuts to things like foreign aid and food stamps that amount to very little while failing to address the DOD, Medicaid and SS. Very popular to criticize those items but they don't come close to addressing the budget problems.

If the government cuts medicaid for citizens then yes they should stop all foreign aid. Including Israel and Egypt. They have more than most.

If Trump and the Republicans cut funding for Food Stamps, Medicaid, Meals-on-Wheels, then we need to immediately end all foreign aid that involves giving nations credit to buy weapons from us.

If we can't care for our own citizens, then we've got no business buying weapons of war for other nations

I am not in favor of stopping food to desperate people. Humanitarian aid that actually gets to starving people rather than syphoned off by corruption is worth continuing.

Wonderful!

Next up; close all foreign military bases.

Much of it just enriches the corrupt leaders. And we've been doing this for decades. Maybe we should apply the "teach a man to fish....." parable.

So when will Trump give himself a cut in his weekly vacation pay? If he's so concerned about the US budget as he claims to be, that's an easy we HE can save US millions of dollars every single weekend. But of course he won't do that, because that would require him to actually think of other people for once.

Talk about something bringing out the tightwad cheapskates.

Does this include the trillions spent on military aid?
