Old weasel liar just like the rest of the party. He got a thrashing in his recent town hall with his constituents, and I would love to see his next one after all this.

I'll believe it when I see this. The dude is a soulless monster, but he's kind of like Bill Belichick. He's evil, but he's undeniably good at what he does.

If McConnell is Belichick then who is his Tom Brady?

Hopefully, the GOP's inability to see eye-to-eye on everything will benefit the nation and its people. One hopes that some sense will be rammed into their heads before they vote on anything (but I don't see this happening). The best we can hope for is continual disagreement if THIS is what they really are planning on pushing on America.

The monstrosity they're trying to push through would be horrible in many ways, and actually doesn't address the biggest issues with the ACA (issues relating to the cost of HC, not insurance).

On the other hand, if they push it on the country, it could do to the GOP what Obamacare opposition did to the Democrats the past several years.

I agree, even though it doesn't go far enough to screw the poor for their hard-core reactionary members, I believe he'll be able to convince enough of them to get it passed...
