That Cruz amendment is a piece of garbage.

Wonder when the Congressional Budget Office will release their report. It was supposed to be today but they delayed it. The CBO report should encourage more GOP Senators to oppose it once they see what the Cruz amendment does.

Agreed. It was ACA light. Now in a year or so, ACA will die on its own. We can then return to Health Insurance via the Free Market.

It's a good thing they could not get together on this but it's hardly a good thing for the country. A good thing for the country is for politicians to finally decide to do the right thing and see to it that everyone is covered.

It's not over until it's over (ultimately when GOP is no longer in control of Congress). These two senators are likely just trying to see what kind of backroom deal they can make for their votes.
