More details to come, but this has "i screwed the pooch" written all over it.

The officer hadn't turned on his body cam, so details will probably be fuzzy. But one thing is for sure; this won't be just another Philando Castile type situation. The Aussie government is gonna want answers for one of their own citizens being gunned down in a foreign country.

The city had fully rolled out their video program. That the officers video was not turned on should be automatic termination. From there an investigation can determine other charges.

This is a tragedy. I don't know that they will ever have all the details but it's doesn't appear that a police officer that reacts like this should be on the force. If she called this in they should have had her name particularly since she was in her pajamas.

And thus, this shows that there are some people who shouldn't be police officers. Philando Castile, this incident. This shows that there are people joining the police force that should not have been there. We don't need the sadistic among the ranks of the police.

Let me guess. "The officer, fearing for his life, fired his service weapon..."
