First, many of these are full-time jobs.
Second, even if they are all part-time, you're saying that there are no American college students or others who would like part-time work who could take these jobs?

And no concern about any of these 15,000 over-staying their visas?

The lengths some will go to defend this administration despite its promises to the contrary.

Trump likes cheap labor, and he likes outsourcing to get it even cheaper.

This is an EXTRA 15,000 in ADDITION to existing seasonal workers. And we all know damn well this flies in the face of everything he has said.

Of course, this is 45's favorite guest worker program - it's the same one he uses for Mar-a-Lago - so no surprise he approved it.

Loved this line from the NBC report:

"Under authority provided by Congress, the Secretary of Homeland Security is permitted to allow the additional visas after determining that the needs of U.S. businesses can't be satisfied with Americans willing and qualified to do the work."

So, 15,000 open jobs and no Americans are "willing or qualified" to do this work.
Too picky?
Too little pay?
Too much actual work?
Too many jobs available in the coal mines?

Defend this 45'ers.
And forget the "illegals are stealing our jobs" BS as that is clearly not the case here.
These jobs are being given to foreigners.

Given.

Trump Administration Allows 15,000 Temporary Worker Visas - NBC News

It's seasonal temporary work. What part of that don't you get? Americans need full time jobs. Illegal aliens have taken full time jobs from Americans by working for less so there is no comparison! At least illegal aliens won't be doing those jobs and their employers will have to cover the social costs of these legal foreigners being they will be here on visas. Unlike those who hire illegal aliens and pass their social costs on to we the taxpayer to the tune of $113 billion a year. Employers have to prove that they can't find Americans to do certain jobs for a fair wage or they won't be approved for visas for foreign workers.

Funny how forum trump supporters will defend whatever the administration does, even when Brietbart vehemently objects. At least Brietbart has some principles, as deplorable as they are. Whereas trump defenders on this forum will simply rah rah rah his every move.
Speaker Ryan Squeezes 15,000 Extra H-2B Workers From DHS Chief John Kelly - Breitbart

Quote:
The decision was forced by GOP leaders in Congress, and is “a betrayal of [President Donald] Trump’s campaign promise to deliver blue-collar jobs to Americans,” said one opponent of the wage-cutting H-2B visa program.

“Kelly’s decision to increase H-2B foreign workers threatens to reverse the trend of reports emerging around the country of employers working harder and raising pay to successfully recruit more unemployed Americans for lower-skilled jobs,” said Roy Beck, president of NumbersUSA, which favors pro-American immigration reforms.

The concession by Kelly marks a win for the GOP legislators and allied business groups who oppose President Donald Trump’s popular “Buy American, Hire American” policy.

The additional inflow of foreign workers will reduce marketplace pressure on employers to develop labor-saving technology and to streamline their business practices. The extra outsourcing visas will also reduce the pressure on companies to offer marketplace wages to recruit new employees, will reduce their incentive to train unemployed Americans from rural and urban areas, and reduce their incentive to lobby state legislators for more vocational training programs.

Another lie on the $113 billion. Disproven long ago but oft repeated when posters' backs are to the wall.

The lengths some will go to defend this administration despite its promises to the contrary.

Oh, please stop with this nonsense! The article said they were temporary seasonal jobs. As I said, the employers have to prove that they can't find Americans to do specific jobs for a fair wage before visas are created. Of course, there's always concern about over staying visas but that's a whole separate issue that needs to be addressed for all of them that have done it in the past also.

The lengths that you lefties will go to demonize Trump is unbelievable. He hasn't broken any promise if the employer had to prove that they need legal, foreign workers because they couldn't find American workers for a fair wage.

More like unemployment rate is under 5%, at which most people consider that to be full employment....meaning people who want to work have a job.

Unbelievable, that liberals are criticizing the President for doing things the way they should be done lol.
