Oh, for Pete's sake! They are temporary seasonal workers. They aren't golf course workers either. They won't be taking full time jobs as illegal aliens have and being paid less than a fair wage.
They will indeed be taking full-time jobs and the main reason business want to bring in immigrant workers is because they will work for less than Americans.
This is the same guy that says there are plenty of Americans to do the jobs here...but, of course, not only are his products (and the stuff he uses to stock his resorts) made overseas, but he jut OKed 15K more immigrants for "temporary" labor.
Anyone with 1/2 a brain knows that our "illegal immigrants" don't walk over "the wall" , but come legally to visit or on another visa type and then just stay here.
The guys in the pic are smiling - because in a year or two they will still be here.
It really makes me wonder about Trump supporters...whether they care:
1. He makes most all Trump brand stuff overseas
2. He uses immigrant labor in his resorts
3. He seems to agree that we need vastly more immigrant labor.
Of course, that's in addition to his "draining the swamp"....by bring all the biggest Swamp Things into DC.
So Trump supports legal immigration and deports illegal aliens, what's the issue?
So now we are gonna have to pay...in a few years...to find the 5K or more of these who decide to stay - and then spend big bucks deporting them?
Or, we do comprehensive reform and they are allowed to stay?
I have no problem - bring 'em on.
When can we get the year-round "guest immigrant" program? I know we have it for the Pakistanis, Indians, Chinese, Japanese and others in high tech. Now we have it vastly enlarged in "resorts"...maybe because Trump has resorts?
What about construction? How many 100's of thousands should be allow "legally" to take American jobs.
I think - in the case of someone like you - there are two or more issues here.
1. You don't like "illegal" stuff (pot, jaywalking, speeding, overstaying a Visa, etc.) and want someone really tough on all that stuff.
2. You think others are taking American jobs - both from outsourcing (Trump brand stuff, etc.) and from "legal" immigrant problems.
It sounds like #1 is your issue, but you are fine with #2...
Hey, he only said he'd stop Mexicans from waltzing over the border illegally.
He never said anything about not flooding the country with immigrants by making it legal for them to pour on in.
C'est la vie !
