The Donald folds on immigration like his cheap suits from China.

The Department of Homeland Security on Monday announced a one-time increase of 15,000 additional visas for low-wage, seasonal workers for the remainder of this fiscal year, a seeming about-face from President Trump's "Hire American" rhetoric, following heavy lobbying from the fisheries, hospitality and other industries that rely on temporary foreign workers.

The increase represents a 45 percent bump from the number of H-2B visas normally issued for the second half of the fiscal year, said senior Homeland Security officials in a call with reporters Monday.

Why don't people get it that Trump is not and has never been against LEGAL immigration it is the ILLEGAL immigrants that suck off the system and hurt America.

Trump wants Americans to work first but as it looks there are certain industries that need foreign workers so the Feds are extending work Visas.

What is the problem with that?

Once again Visa holders are legally entering the US and will be beholding to our laws.
Illegals that sneak in or overstay their Visas are breaking the law and need to be held accountable.

Oh, for Pete's sake! They are temporary seasonal workers. They aren't golf course workers either. They won't be taking full time jobs as illegal aliens have and being paid less than a fair wage.

Excellent! Although, while they published it online, I wonder how much TV coverage it got on Fox. Still, good to see they acknowledged it. Honestly, not being snarky.

I was curious if Fox & Breitbart would inform Trump supporters that he approved additional immigrants.

WRONG.
DHS to open another 15,000 visas for seasonal, non-agricultural workers
Quote:
One business that employs seasonal workers through the H-2B visa program is President Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.

According to CNN Monday, between 2013 and 2015, the club posted 250 seasonal job openings and filled only four with American workers. The rest of the staff there is filled through H-2B visa holders.

I just saw this on NBC News.

15,000 more H2B visas, more than were granted last year.
Of course, this is 45's favorite guest worker program - it's the same one he uses for Mar-a-Lago - so no surprise he approved it.

Loved this line from the NBC report:

"Under authority provided by Congress, the Secretary of Homeland Security is permitted to allow the additional visas after determining that the needs of U.S. businesses can't be satisfied with Americans willing and qualified to do the work."

So, 15,000 open jobs and no Americans are "willing or qualified" to do this work.
Too picky?
Too little pay?
Too much actual work?
Too many jobs available in the coal mines?

Defend this 45'ers.
And forget the "illegals are stealing our jobs" BS as that is clearly not the case here.
These jobs are being given to foreigners.

Given.
