Trump’s Russian Laundromat:
How to use Trump Tower and other luxury high-rises to clean dirty money, run an international crime syndicate, and propel a failed real estate developer into the White House

The New Republic
By Craig Unger

Even without an investigation by Congress or a special prosecutor, there is much we already know about the president’s debt to Russia. A review of the public record reveals a clear and disturbing pattern: Trump owes much of his business success, and by extension his presidency, to a flow of highly suspicious money from Russia. Over the past three decades, at least 13 people with known or alleged links to Russian mobsters or oligarchs have owned, lived in, and even run criminal activities out of Trump Tower and other Trump properties. What is that supposed to mean?

Are you saying that the idea of serious journalists doing extensive research, and seriously concerned citizens reading detailed articles, is alien to you? Your only information is quick Fox sound bites?

The FBI and the CIA must be in on it.
I suppose it could be a matter that doesn't matter sense they don't do investigations anymore.

Bud this is nonsense beyond anything pot can inspire a writer to do, requires something like quaaludes. Those haven't been in circulation for many years.

Most Republicans understand sex and bribery.

Complicated financial dealings and high dollar cash transactions, not so much.

IIRC, Trump Tower NYC does no due diligence on buyers like most condos and co ops. Most want to know where large amounts of cash came from.

The New Republic is an uber-liberal magazine with falling circulation. Trump could solve world hunger and NR would crucify him for causing overpopulation. That’s how the left works and that's why I can't be bothered reading them. It's just more noise and Trump-hysteria.
