Well, he made it much worse. No message, no plan, no bipartinship, just profanity laced speeches filled with disunity and hate.
The lack of bipartisanship is a bipartisan problem.
And of course there's been no real unified response to anything. How can their be? Ignoring the impossibility of sustaining a two party system, the previous election showed major rifts in both parties. The only reason it's not clearly causing a problem for Republicans is because they currently hold a majority, though even then, their difficulty in passing something as simple as a budge shows that there's a problem. Neither party knows how to address the issue, despite the answer being obvious. The parties need to be broken up. Between the Democrats and Republicans alone you could form probably at least six parties. The issue is, without an outside force essentially demanding they do this, it won't happen, since no matter how much disunity there is in each party, which ever on break apart ensures that the other party becomes extremely dominant.
By the way, simply looking through your posting history and your proudly proclaiming "liberalism is a mental disorder" you cannot lecture anyone about being hateful.

No, I'm lecturing you now. There are thousands of people just like you, on the left and the right, and YOU are ruining this country. Those who willingly place themselves in echo chambers and uncritically hate the "other side" are the problem. There is no other problem. Not like this. Corruption? Debt, maybe? Both of those can be solved by the system, but you and those like you are a unique problem entirely because you can't just pass a law to fix that. Its something else. And I will lecture the **** out of you so long as you continue to behave as you do.
