Liberals like CNBC, right? Helping out the OP in support of my President:

Consumer confidence hits 118.9 in June, versus 116 estimate Consumer confidence is up! "Consumer expectations improved to a nearly 16 year high". Consumer expectations for the labor were positive and rose also.

Another source: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...imism-persists

And another: Consumer confidence gets stronger in June - MarketWatch

The election of President Trump delivers!

***Come on libs, where is your "but, but, but"?

Meanwhile back in the real world the IMF over the weekend lowered its already dismal forecast for US growth (while raising it for the rest of the planet), the dollar sank to lows not seen in years, and housing sales disappointed once again.

Consumer confidence has been gaining for a while. Last few months have seen a drop.

Overall...I could just go on about how it went up regularly under obama after the recession, but of course it did. Thats what occurs in a recovery.

The recent lowering and flatlining is unimpressive.

Oh, you didn't realize that retail stores were dropping like flies with internet shopping rising? This has been going on for quite some time. The era of online shopping: https://www.forbes.com/sites/barbara.../#4fa217725d02

Did you get that from your "Hillary Daily"? Highest consumer confidence in 16 years, do the math on that, and links have been provided.

Greywar: Have you not read the link I provided that says it went up in June, highest consumer confidence in 16 years. Yeah, I know you don't want to see or hear it, but it is what it is. It is going to get better, so you'll have a more difficult reporting old news.

Sure, but it would have been even worse had not FDR gone on TV in 1929 to calm the fears of the American people.

I agree, it is a problem when people are ignorant of history.
