Given that the president of the USA has always had a standing invitation, as I said before, the BSA could not "uninvited" this president without putting themselves in the middle of a political firestorm. They didn't really have a way out of this, except to hope that Trump wouldn't embarrass them.

There have been many, many, many Scouts - former and current - who've decried this speech.

First of all, the Jamboree is only held once every four years so no, Obama was not invited every year. Second of all, while Obama may not have spoken at the Jamboree he did invite the Scouts to the White House.

Hey bud, its not just me. Head on over to the BSA Facebook page to see just how many scouts and scouting families disagree with what Trump did.

And there was NOT 40,000 people there that day!!!
