If that's the case why push this thru?

Party before country, it's the Republican way.

I'm glad McCain dragged himself out the hospital, where he was receiving the most expensive, absolute best healthcare on the planet - funded by TAXPAYERS - just to vote to be able to take away health care from millions of everyday hardworking Americans.

This scenario is the definition of "**** you, got mine".

Said it should reach the Senate floor, have Amendments, etc. Based off any changes to the bill between now and when it comes up for a final vote will determine his vote, but as of now he would be a no.

Bolded = weasel phrase that instantly renders the promise before that utterly meaningless.

What is "it" (the bill? External circumstances? His whims?), and how little will it take for "it" to "stand" differently than it currently does?

They didn't even vote on a bill did they? So this motion is to allow them to keep writing bills that won't pass? Well the fun will start when they actually write a bill and dems will introduce 10,000 amendments and they have to vote on each one of They?

The world is watching. Its not just Russia watching. They see a government that is dysfunctional.
If a house divided can not stand. What about a Senate that needs V.P. Pence to break a 50/50 tie.

I wish I could say this comes as a surprise, but...no...everybody had to know this is how it would work out.

Talking to senators on fake news, they don't even know what they voted for. OMG!

The 2 traitors won't be involved in the debate, so that means everybody will need to vote yes in the eventual bill vote.
That may be a good thing, because it will put the pressure on EVERYONE to vote yes, and that may create unity.
