Several threads on this right now. The deal has been in the works for quite some time, six or seven states competed. Wisconsin is paying $1 to $3 Billion with a B dollars in tax incentives. Something about "picking winners and losers" that Republicans used to complain about but now it's okay because it's Republicans.

I should approach trump with a plan to create two jobs and see how many millions in tax breaks I can get out of him.

Hopefully this investment will work out positively for the people of Wisconsin. Somehow I don't think Trump would be showing up for a similar announcement in any of the 20 states that voted against him.

I like winning. Trump is doing a great job. He shouldn't work so hard. He needs to relax more and play more golf. Try and keep a more balanced lifestyle for health reasons. We don't want to lose him too soon Even the haters would agree with that if they were being honest

I live in Wisconsin and this has nothing to do with Trump. It has been local politicians, both Republicans and Democrats, working on this. Also, the need for a lot of water has helped with the selection of Wisconsin for this factory.

This proposal has been kicking around for a while.

The Foxconn suicides were a spate of suicides linked to low pay at the so-called "Foxconn City" industrial park in Shenzhen, China, that occurred alongside several additional suicides at various other Foxconn-owned locations and facilities in Mainland China. The 18 attempted suicides by Foxconn (Chinese: 富士康) employees resulted in 14 deaths. The suicides drew media attention, and employment practices at Foxconn—one of the world’s largest contract electronics manufacturers—were investigated by several of its customers, including Apple and Hewlett-Packard (HP).
