I feel the right decision made, seriously these people are protesting over non-sense. Majority of Americans did not want transgender people in the military, majority of these trans people decide during or after boot camp they want surgery, why should the military be forced to pay their pointless surgery that they really don't need and not life threating if they can't afford then don't get it, if start becoming suicidal because they can't get surgery then they get kicked out for trying to kill themselves. so either way they should not be allowed into the military.

Many want to make it a discrimination or civil right issue. Can't win with these people.

I think the issue here is more about a citizen..demanding the full responsibilities and privileges of citizenship.
To take away the right to defend your country..because of gender identity...makes them less.
I can see their point..me..as long as they can shoot and pack their load--let them serve.
Besides, I think Trump brought up this issue just to distract.

He did not confer with military leaders. He is seeking to divert media attention from the ongoing Russia investigation and garner support from the evangelical base. Nothing more. Trump is doing what he always does, controlling the media. The ONLY thing he has any talent for. This policy is blatantly aimed at changing the narrative. As always Trump cares about one thing and one thing only - self preservation. Not unlike all parasites.
