The friend is suing along with the parents of Brown to have the case reopened and bring the Ferguson police department and officer Wilson to justice.
The friend claims that Wilson murdered Brown and never told them to stop etc...
Of course this is in direct opposition to Obamas DOJ heading to Ferguson with the intent of finding evidence of the already in their minds convicted racist officer Wilson.
Time will tell how this latest law suit plays out.
What do you think?
Should they sue to reopen the case or should they let Brown RIP?
I think they are well within their rights to sue and demand that Wilson be prosecuted. However, I'm doubtful that it will result in a conviction (even though I believe Wilson is guilty).

Of course you believe he is guilty, because you're black.

He shouldn't get a dime. He should be arrested for saying a false statement that caused riots!!!! How he was not arrested for lying is beyond me. He should be in jail for the rest of his life!!

This from the same stupid, ignorant moron of a stepfather who openly called to burn the city to the ground?
Oh Dear Lord not this again. My feelings have remained unchanged throughout this entire ordeal. There is no question in my mind the Ferguson Police had abused their powers and treated AAs unfairly in the past. That does not however mean it automatically happened in this situation. There is a ton of conflicting witness accounts, many (I believe it was the majority) said they saw Brown charging Wilson.
With so much doubt about exactly what happened I think it's terribly wrong that there is a statue honoring a kid who was a thug for most of his life.

I'd be doubtful too since it's a civil lawsuit seeking money and there can't be a criminal conviction.
They are of course within their rights to sue, I'm surprised it took this long.
The two things that clinched his not even being charged were the forensic evidence that showed his friend lied about several things and probably more importantly several other (black) witnesses that didn't run in front of cameras because their version of events ran along the lines of supporting the officers version of events. They were afraid to be seen helping the officers case, so much so that the NAACP provided protection for them....from BLM.
Basically, in the first 24 hours of the shooting his buddy and some relatives (who weren't even there) went in front of news cameras and lied about what happened. Months later the other witnesses got to put in their 2 cents but by then people had made up their minds.
