Trump can get little to nothing done. Not so with Pence.

If a president is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors then Congress has a duty to impeach. There should be no calculation of whether or not we like the V.P. better or worse. If Trump is guilty of multiple offenses, then he should be shown the door, regardless of what the succession is.

I don't think he'd be worse. I prob disagree with him on most social issues but I can deal with that because I at least don't think he'd embarrass the country.

Kinda like Bush 43 and Cheney 10 years ago: many people hated Bush but, Cheney scared us MORE.

Absolutely, if not worse. He is pure evil. Anti everything that isn't money orientated.

The difference is he appears to act mature, unlike his boss, but almost everyone knows that already.

You forgot Rumsfeld. The two of them made Bush Jr a perfect puppet (as pathetic as he was).

How can the rich steal from the poor? The rich pay taxes to support the poor. Without the rich the poor end up in the gutter and become beggars. That is such a lousy phrase!

The best candidate for the Dems to win in 2020 is Trump.

If Trump is impeached the Dems would surely lose in 2020. As of now the Dems have zero leadership in the party and no candidates for 2020. Pence would win in a landslide.

It was never whether which was worse really for me. It was about the rule of law and the standing of our country on the national stage as it relates to global stability. So I've been all for impeaching Trump as soon as the evidence reaches threshold for taking action. He's thrown this country into chaos, and frankly, I can't believe I ever thought Bush 2 was that bad.

Further, I'm taking care of my father as he goes through the stages of dementia, and I think Trump shows all the signs of being in the early stages of it. Add in the likely personality disorder and....

At this point, it's no longer a matter of "if" he will leave office early but "when."

My disagreement with both isn't the same thing though.

Trump is just a douche. He doesn't hold the office of the presidency to the dignity I would like to see of it. His attitude is repugnant and corrosive.

Pence is just very socially conservative. I might disagree with that, but at the very lest, he'd respect the system (more than Trump). I can handle that.
One you can work with and compromise with. One you cannot.

I think it's obvious which of each falls in which camp.
