Trump is doing everything that anti-impeachment Democrats feared would happen with Pence at the helm i.e. unleashing a full out assault on the LGBT community. In fact it might actually be worse because Trump is a true bully.

My disagreement with both isn't the same thing though.
Trump is just a douche. He doesn't hold the office of the presidency to the dignity I would like to see of it. His attitude is repugnant and corrosive.
Pence is just very socially conservative. I might disagree with that, but at the very lest, he'd respect the system (more than Trump). I can handle that.
No. I've never thought Pence would be worse. He's socially conservative and would probably steal from the poor and give to the rich, but it's unlikely he'd bring the country to its knees just by being a turd.

I am not sure. I completely disagree with Pence's religion-based everything but I truly fear that Trump could be endangering the country with his foreign dealings. The fear he is showing with regard to the Mueller investigation makes it seem quite obvious he has much to hide.

Yes, absolutely. The difference is it is doubtful Pence would be endangering the country through foreign connections. I don't see Pence terrified about his finances or having his children running to daddy saying he needs to get rid of the Attorney General because they are having to hire lawyers because they kept meeting with Russians.
