Obamacare is not perfect, but if you talk to people who have it, they say it's better than nothing. McCain voted no because he wants both parties to work together on this because no one party can fix it. But this is all on republicans now. They ran on repealing and lost.

The number of uninsured has gone down since the ACA became law. Pre-existing conditions no longer became an impediment to getting insurance. Those two things are worth the price of admission.

Yes we can all look forward to higher premiums, fewer choices and ultimately insurance co bailouts...good plan.

Is it really that simple, LTR?

Healthcare has become an entitlement..and people don't like it when the Govt. takes away their free stuff.

Perhaps we should bow to reality and make some form of UHC work?

People who couldn't afford insurance still can not afford to use it, but your answer really didn't address my question.

Is Obamacare really affordable? Not for the middle class. - Nov. 4, 2016

And it's still going up with no end in sight.

How can you defend this?

Pre-existing conditions were a good thing to address. It's too bad the cost side was not addressed. It doesn't do a lot of good to be able to purchase something you can not afford.

I agree.......take Trump out of the equation, he has been President for 6 months......Mccain has been in the senate for decades and he ran on repeal and replace Obamacare. His state of Arizona got hit the worst under Obamacare where their premiums went up 3 times and he pulls this stunt.

If he doesn't like the plan then where is his plan? but again he sided with the Democrats and screw his state.

You want to make abortion illegal even when poor women can't afford to have kids. But yet you don't want them to have healthcare because you think it's an entitlement. What exactly do you want because it's sending mixed messages.
