You don't pay them. The team owners and the NFL pays them.
Also, they are paid to PLAY not stand for the National Anthem.
Also, NFL players only started standing for the anthem 8 years ago. They used to stay in the locker rooms before then. Department of Defense and the National Guard paid the NFL millions of taxpayer dollars ($6.8 million to be exact) for patriotic displays beginning in approximately 2011. Oh and the government also gave money to the NBA, MLB, MLS, and NHL for similar purposes.
You and many others are being played. Big time.
The owners made that deal. Now it's gonna bite them in the butt.
A poll having to do with football and firing the players kneeling.
Let's say that as Trump and Trump's supporters desire any football players kneeling during the national anthem are immediately fired.
But in turn in college and universities, the students have the ability to fire any professor that has views out of the norm. In most cases this would have liberal students having conservative professors fired.
On the other hand the football players aren't fired for kneeling to the national anthem, and in turn at universities the students have no power to have professors with views out of the norm fired. This would make it so that conservative professors are safer to talk about their views.
No, they don't. And more focus on black grievances will not make them any more popular.
And many people didn't care for that either. Fortunately, it was a one time thing, or the popularity of Olympic athletes would have taken a severe hit.
The players' actions are indeed against NFL rules.
If people watch Black players, then Black Grievances will also come into the picture. They are also Americans-Equal and same as any other.
