Trump said anyone who doesn't stand for the flag is an SOB and should be fired. They then chose to not stand for the flag or the country. It is called rebellion. They chose to do it. So they chose to be an SOB and disrespect the flag, and our country.
Rebellion is as America as apple pie. It is what led to the Declaration of Independence.
It is the requirement to play the national anthem.
How many more times do we have to repeat this to you? No it is not. There is absolutely nothing in the NFL rule book that says they have to do that. And in spite of multiple times people have asked you to provide a link to prove your claim, you have neglected to do so. We, on the other hand, have provided links to both the NFL rule book as well as another article to prove our claims.
One of the NFL players interviewed on tv this morning gave this reason for the protesting: "Uh, it's because blacks are abused by the police and racial issues . . . oh, and yeah, what Trump said." Not verbatim, but you get the drift.
Therefore it's about police brutality and racial issues - and as an afterthought he throws in President Trump for good measure.
Truth be known, if you interviewed every player than refused to honor our flag and our country I doubt that the majority would have any idea why they're doing it, other than the old "To get along, go along" mindset, and "Let's not made the NFL owners mad or I may get kicked off the team".
And of course the liberal-biased media was foaming at the mouth to jump on the bandwagon . . . any excuse to bash our President.

Of course, it is all about their blackness . Now if a white person put their whiteness first they are a white supremacist. If they put being an American first is would be what it should be.
Police brutality, sure, and they are protecting thugs who run from the police. They should be cleaning up their own back yard of the thugs who are running the neighborhoods instead of protecting them.
So trump calling players "SOB's" is Okay to you then,that's not disgusting???You're a hypocrite!
Consider the audience. Trump was just using the rhetoric that they wanted to hear. I imagine disrespecting the flag or national anthem really pisses people off in that part of the country.
It is the requirement to play the national anthem. They chose not to participate. It is a requirement that the national anthem be played. I never said that it is a requirement to stand. It is a rebellious act to not stand and respect our country. If they don't want to , MOVE !
If you support anti-Americans you have that right. I have the right to support Americans who love this country and would in a heart beat stand for the flag.
If you really believe that as fact then you should contact the FBI about a crime.

Take a knee during the anthem, to bring attention to innocent Americans being killed. BTW, since when has taking a knee been considered anything other than a respectful gesture?

It's pathetic. Last week only 4 players even participated, it was barely an afterthought. But the bum decided that he needed to distract from his failures, and the sheep were so eager to follow that they forgot the stance they were taking just last week.
It's a shame in that the kneeling protest has been hijacked by this debate about disrespecting the military. When Kaepernick started doing this last year he was in his own words trying to bring attention to unethical police practices. It was never intended to be a stance against the Armed Forces.
