Nope, not really...it just shows how smart you are not....I hate football and don't care about football, but I'm going to post in a football thread, and then when people ask why I hate football but are posting in a football thread...I'm just goona tell them I can....great response...shows how well.....shows nothing...

I'm actually disappointed that the NFL runs ads for the predatory business of payday loans.

I would be happy to see the NFL go under. College football is far better in my opinion and they don't have a lot of dummies getting rich playing. I think it is ridiculous what these people get paid.

I just don't understand how anyone can feel that what these players doing are OK. They are getting pd to play - if any one of us said, did or wore anything that might be offensive to a customer - we'd be fired - plain and simple. These players can protest on their own time. I think it's a good cause - but not one for the playing field.
It's been noted over and over and over in this thread. It's not your call.

Our society cares far too much about sports.

Intolerance for dissent is not simply a one way street. The left is not great at tolerating dissent when the other side protest. Why would anybody play or even watch a one sided game?
Yes, they have a right to disagree, sure. But to demand that the players taking a knee get fired? That's how you define "tolerating dissent"?

Ever see what college head coaches get paid?

Brandon Marshall and Von Miller have lost millions of dollars in endorsements that were pulled although they may not care.

People are now going after some of the NFL sponsors though, so look for statements from the following soon (if they haven't already issued one):

Official League Sponsors (more than a billion dollars to the league):

Anheuser-Busch InBev
Barclays
Bose
Bridgestone
Campbell’s
Castrol
Dannon
DMI
EA Sports
Extreme Networks
FedEx
Ford
Frito-Lay
Gatorade
Hyundai
Intel
Marriott
Mars
McDonald’s
Microsoft
Nationwide
New Era
News America
Nike
Papa John’s
PepsiCo
Procter & Gamble
Quaker
Sirius XM
Ticketmaster
Under Armour
USAA
Verizon
Visa
Zebra

And as you probably know - PepsiCo owns Gatorade and FritoLay.

If this continues to gather steam and other advertisers stop advertising -- the NFL will be forced to do something about the national anthem circus side show.
My guess is the NFL had him replaced within minutes. Sorry, but only a stupid person cuts off their own nose in spite over this.
