For a variety of historical reasons including past discrimination and slavery, a much greater percentage of blacks are criminals than whites, even if in absolute numbers there are more white criminals than black. It would therefore be expected that a higher percentage of blacks than whites are pulled over, it's statistically normal

well no, blacks are stopped more often as a percentage because blacks as a percentage are committing more infractions because statistically there is more poverty and lack of education (for historical reasons as stated before). black crime rates are high because they are targeted by police. If you over police white neighborhoods white crime rates will go up. Statistically, white people are more likely to have illegal stuff on them compared to blacks. But blacks are still more likely to be stopped. It's because of racial profiling. And you are literally explaining racial profiling. You're believe stereotypes about blacks so you think all of them should just be pulled over. We have a huge white people-opioid crisis going on, why aren't more whites being pulled over and searched?

Try watching the patriots, the redskins....the steelers....the ravens. I could go on and on with teams who have loyal followers and the stadiums are packed. Quite frankly this attitude scares me. I sure am glad I am not one of those kind of fans. I am glad our money does not pictures of an ugly lady on it (Queen). I am glad women can vote and blacks do not have to use different drinking fountains. I am glad the Vietnam war did not keep dragging on and I am glad that Colin Kaepernick made this peaceful protest. It has made identifying idiots so much easier.

I grew up in a poor Hispanic community next to a mostly White community. We were not the ones with the drugs but we were policed heavily.
My house was broken into and it wasn't a Hispanic. Finally, a small section of the nearest city had black people. They were hardly in the news. Hispanics were in the news for committing crimes.

Well the networks have already done something - they are no longer showing the anthem with the players dissing the country. "Out of sight out of mind" is the current motto, but they won't be able to ignore it during the Super Bowl. You can bet Trump is going to stir the pot again while 100 million people are watching. Kaepernick is also going to keep things in the spotlight, he's going to be bagging groceries forever for his antics but he won't go quietly. I think the days of viewer growth for the NFL are over, viewership will rebound a little as this issue fades but there's a big chunk that's just not going to come back
They have not been showing the anthem for decades. The broadcast begins at kickoff.
