Oh no, the horror! Voting prevents one party from having absolute power of the country.
Funny how conservatives hate big government doing whatever it wants when the other party is in power, but as soon as they elect their chosen stooge, we need to get rid of the rules of law that have preserved our democracy and prevent dictatorships for over 200 years just so Trump and his party bobbleheads can pass whatever destructive and bigoted laws they wish.
Right-wingers should be ashamed by this mindset, and their lack of respect for what actually makes America great - it's not Trump - is disgraceful. But this is just more of the same from the "small government" party that wants a government too weak to run the schools or pave the roads, but one that is strong enough to monitor the bedrooms and temples for the "wrong" kind of sex and religion.

I expect even neophytes to have a basic knowledge of politics or do the work necessary to prevent ignorance on political topics discussed before posting. If it is coupled with a small amount of ability

Whatever, dude - that doesn't make it right, and the difference is that most Progressive VOTERS don't want to do away with those rules... while many right-wingers want whatever allows their worthless party to "beat the cr*p out of liberals," regardless of the damage done to our nation. When Cult 45 is willing to take a stand against Trump, then we can talk, but not until then.
I agree. Maybe the best thing is to change the name of the country to Trumplandia, have a coronation and declare him as king and his family as the royal family, disband Congress and put our fate into their hands.
We can declare this experiment that was created back in the 1700s a nice try, but it just didn't work out.
One last thing. We can change July 4th to Supreme Leader Day.
