Trump doesn't care about getting reelected. Nor does he care about the future of any Republican politician. He only cares about destroying Obama and his legacy.
If his actions caused his impeachment and resignation, he still wouldn't care. He'd declare it a victory and say he won because he managed to destroy Obamacare and all his accomplishments.

A very small minded, petty, vindictive, self serving man.

OH MY GAWD! SOCIALIST!!!!!!

You DO know don't you that there are TENS OF MILLIONS MILLIONS of American seniors who RELY on their SOCIALIST SS payments each month to survive right? And TENS OF MILLIONS more adult children of those folks who ALSO BENEFIT from those very same SOCIALIST SS payments to their parents because those parents don't have to be supported by those adult children, Chances are you are either in one group or the other - and if not you likely WILL be. I doubt you'll turn that SOCIALIST money away when the time comes.

Not to mention the SOCIALIST MEDICARE health insurance those same seniors are getting.

Democrats should not support the debt ceiling increase until all payments are guaranteed January 2021. I'm sure there's other measures Republicans need Democratic support for too.

Oh like ACA caused massive problems for the healthcare industry? I still don't have healthcare insurance because the Plains are ridiculously expensive and I don't want to subsidize anyone.

You could be right. We'll see if he actually has the guts.
Personally I doubt it, but I could be surprised.

Absolutely true. Republicans have been sabotaging it since the beginning.

Yet you live in a nation with the best roads, all the electricity you can use, 24 hrs a day, free to carry an Ar15 down main street, with the best learning institutions in the world and someone to help you and your family if you ever need help.

And you feel the need to contribute nothing to the common good.

This is called a parasite.

My husband and I make well into six figures, have zero debt, and we still live like college students (living in a 250sf studio, no car, living off of rice and beans) because we have a goal of saving up $5,000,000 as quickly as possible. Not for retirement, not for college (we both already have graduate degrees), not for kids (we don't want someone else to worry about), not for anything fun...

All so that if Obamacare goes bye bye and for some reason we lose our jobs and then get cancer or something, we have a chance to not go bankrupt. I said a chance, because even $5M might not be enough.

Retirement is not even on our minds.
