Nasty leftists? I suppose you don't count the following behaviors as nasty? I just wanna be sure about your views.
*Insulting War Heroes (not just McCain, but a 97-year-old war veteran during a speech - when he started talking about how he took Ohio [the veteran's home] and spared little, if any, words about his service and how this country appreciates him)
*Fat-shaming women, from Rosie O'Donnell to a former Miss Venezuela
*Beyond tactless allusions toward a female reporter's menstrual cycle
*The meow grabbing remark
*Calling certain countries s|-|itholes
*Claiming one of our closest and most powerful of our European allies (Germany) was too beholden to Putin due to getting so much oil and gas from them.
* Whipping up fervor based on every bigotry under the sun (Islamophobia, Xenophobia, Racism, Sexism).
* Mockingly pantomiming a reporter with a visible disability
* Even his own base isn't immune (Trump's "dumb Southerners" remark about Jeff Sessions)
And I'm just warming up.
Are you sure rightists aren't at least as nasty, and likely more so?
This was by legal expert Jeffrey Toobin, shortly after Scalia's death last year. Of course, this was pre-Trump.
Antonin Scalia, who died this month, after nearly three decades on the Supreme Court, devoted his professional life to making the United States a less fair, less tolerant, and less admirable democracy. Fortunately, he mostly failed. Belligerent with his colleagues, dismissive of his critics, nostalgic for a world where outsiders knew their place and stayed there, Scalia represents a perfect model for everything that President Obama should avoid in a successor.
Excessive tolerance equals destruction. Great societies are defined by what evil they are intolerant of.
Admirable is subjective. Under progressives, we have high rates of terrorism, crime, and social dysfunction that we never reached in more traditional societies. This society is dystopic by any reasonable measure, historic or otherwise, not admirable.

Yes, of course we're sure.
Leftist policies and values are responsible for:
fractured communities across the West,
fractured families,
high rates of drug use and death,
less effective yet militarized law enforcement that our men get PTSD serving on while policing your special groups, and
ultra-high rates of crime and terrorism within our borders.
Your policies are tearing down our civilization at its root, and you are being pacified with drugs, food, smart phones, the internet, and television to supplant what we had before.
Our children aren't even permitted to grow up believing essential truths about reality like the existence of two distinct and defined genders.
Your paltry complaints aren't a blip on the screen in comparison. In fact, I've dealt with a lot of people who emphasize being "weird" as you indicate in your profile currently showing. Every one has been an emotionally unstable, drug addled social burden who has no sense of reality as it actually is. Yet, we are forced to manage their unrealistic views of the world, to the detriment of the normal majority, no matter how far society bends to accommodate them as a result. How long do you feel that such people will be tolerated? See any social stress fractures as of yet?
The SCt Justices are not petty political opponents as this thread makes it appear--they are jurists who appreciate each other while vehemently disagreeing on issues. For example, I am sure you did not know Scalia actually WANTED Kagan on the court because she is smart. Sometimes, not everything is about petty politics.
Let's take a look at the comments from the people who actually knew him, who even disagreed with him:
Did they ever release any results of an autopsy? It's been said he likely died in his hunting cabin of a drug overdose, and I also heard that there "was not an autopsy", so they covered up his cause of death.
Anyone know what the cause of death has been reported as?

He was obviously overweight and in terrible condition. Whoever started those rumors is a vicious hater.
He was one of the cruelest, vicious SCOTUS members who ever lived. He is rotting in hell.
Another wicked comment. Talk about the "tolerant" left
