No one loves Joy Reid as much as i do, but this is a non issue to me.
The United States has already elected a black president, and we're the lowest group on the totem pole. We're damn sure lower on the totem pole than white women.
Hillary Clinton could've easily won this past election if she'd had her campaign and message together, but she rejected the populism that Trump was smart enough to jump all over. She was trying to be too middle of the road instead of acting like a damn Democrat. We're a liberal party...BE A DAMN LIBERAL. Say that we're getting out of the wars, bringing our troops home, getting healthcare for all Americans, allowing Americans to buy their medicines from Canada, negotiating prescription costs for Medicare, starting up a major public works project for infrastructure across America, investing more money into public education, ending the drug war and decriminalizing drugs on the federal level, etc, etc...
Enough with Democrats that pretend to be Republicans.
You need to understand where people like Clintons come from and why it's more than just "pretending" of being Republicans;

Most female heads of state have not been elected directly by the people. In the Parliamentary system, people elect the party and the party in power elects the prime minister. I'm not saying it's right, but it is what it is.
Because Trump had those things? Be sure to create a list of requirements that a woman must meet then elect a man that has none of those things. Especially ethical. Let him turn the White House into an ugly reality show and then say no women could measure up.
That does not explain all the attacks women made regarding hair, makeup, wrinkles, ankles, weight, age, etc. while blissfully ignoring that Trump was older and fatter. Attack her for remaining married to a cheater while electing an actual cheater. It's best to just acknowledge reality and stop pretending. This country will not be electing a female president until the baby boomers have passed. That generation too male centric. They are the generation that remembers when women couldn't even get a credit card without their husband (1974). They just cannot bring themselves to elect a woman and will create a million excuses why.
Think of all the dictators and evil leaders that were men yet none of them are judged based on their gender. But any women will be judged on their gender first.

Let's see Republicans nominate and actually elect a woman. It simply won't happen. There were plenty of women who became PUMAs because of their strong support of Hillary. Very different than when Trump was attacking Carly by saying "look at that face!".

I don't disagree at all. The older generation gets increasingly more male-centric. I think at least another generation, i.e. twenty years will need to pass.
