Over 333K likes now. Glad to see that America supports our police officers at a time when they are being undermined by POTUS.

How dare you disparage our fine police force here in Long Island. I'm clutching my pearls.

Even hard core right wing boot licking Jeff sessions types realize that you can't be on both sides of this issue . Innocent till proven guilty applies to both alleged gang members and brown folks as well as bikers and Bundy ranch militia types....... Can't just grab suspects and beat em half to death just because you can. So what's it going to be Patriots???????

The majority of cops support Trump. Cops felt for the last 8 years that the White House was at war with the cops. As far as Trump's comments the cops know what it is. Please spare us with all the butthurt!!!

It was a stupid, stupid thing to say and a stupid line of thought by the POTUS. The last thing LE needs is this clown giving ammunition to those who seek to hurt us, think Dallas, Baton Rouge, NYC, Frein etc.. This idiot giving these whack jobs another reason to ambush LE is the last thing anybody needs.

Just more idiocy from him. So we see how obnoxiously unpleasant he was when speaking and then, it is said later that he was "just joking". He is motivated by "fighting", "winning", being violent and aggressive, attempting to motivate others in such a way. He is unaware how many do not relate, who abhor him or laugh about, and that he is a total embarrassment.

I don't know how much more I can take.

Trump's own DEA Chief felt compelled to rebuke Trump's encouragement of police violence against arrestees:

In a memo sent to agency personnel on Saturday, Chuck Rosenberg said that, while he did not believe any "special agent or task force officer of the DEA would mistreat a defendant," he felt compelled to address the president's statement, saying Trump "condoned police misconduct." DEA chief: Trump 'condoned police misconduct' | TheHill.

They would use any excuse, and would act without an excuse. You know it, everybody knows it. He supports the police force and law and order.

Police departments distance themselves from Trump's comments encouraging police violence - ABC News

As if they don't already have enough on their plates.

I'm more likely to accept their interpretations of Trump's remarks over those of an anonymous poster on an obscure internet forum.
BECAUSE...

All because the liberal media chose to make a mountain out of a molehill and interpreted what he said in the most negative way they possibly could to make people everywhere 'outraged'.

Since numb-minded people respond to liberal exaggerations automatically, they were, of course, outraged.

Public outcry (fake or otherwise) gives police departments, who have already been badly maligned by the previous administration and its supporters, saw a window of opportunity to improve their image.

It's called PR.
