Rather than letting Obamacare implode, Trump is causing it to implode.

Bingo. Many Trump supporters are trying to ignore that part of this issue.

Multiple democrats are on record over the last week basically saying "let's make this a bipartisan effort. Reach across the isle and work with us."

But no, McConnell ignores them completely. Republicans have not sought any input from democrats on healthcare. NONE.

The rest of the developed world has Universal Healthcare. Single payer is just one model used to deliver Universal Healthcare. Some countries rely entirely on private ( insurance) payer. Most countries are a mixed bag.

Germany's healthcare system is 134 years old. They realized there is no such thing as perfect healthcare for everyone. It is living legislation. It's amended annually and periodically reformed which is true of all Universal Healthcare Systems.

Universal Healthcare Systems mandate insurance, subsidize low/ no income, do not discriminate by age or condition and compel governments to manage cost.

Some countries require all employers to subsidize and some do not.

There is no country with a successful so- called free market model.

Thank you for the excellent post. It won't change any minds and that is unfortunate.

This nation has never had a president who would deliberately undermine and sabotage the laws of the land, as opposed to upholding them. He could care less how many Americans will die due to his actions.

There are very few countries where employers are in business of directly providing health insurance. I can't think of any other country than US.

Come on. Like, even Trump supporters have to admit that's just silly.
Just as silly as the dems asking the R's to vote for 0bamacare. When they were told it had to passed to see what was in it?

If the Dem's would pay attention, they might learn something from Trump. Dem's are being handed their own schtick, and are to blind to see it.

As long as MediCare is barred from negotiating prescription drug prices I can't credit Congress with having any real concern for health care costs either. Failing 60+ times to repeal the ACA while having NO decent replacement ready is laughable to the extreme. And that's being kind.

Obamacare is a heck of a lot better than the nothing we had before. Because at least those people who had 0 health insurance options now have the chance to have insurance. Besides, instead of complaining about how bad the program is, where's the great replacement Rs have promised us?

Obiecare has no price controls, it can't be tweaked. We need a new approach, Obamacare is dead. I haven't seen any comprehensive fixes offered by Democrats, Trump can and should kill it.
